HP is showcasing a new integrated AI production solution at PRINTING United 2026, combining new capabilities within HP PrintOS Production Hub with the HP Latex R530 AI Printer.
The Latex R530 AI is described as HP’s first compact, all-in-one rigid-and-flexible large-format printer powered by both cloud and on-edge AI. The system is designed to connect stages of production from customer order through to printed output.
HP Production Hub – AI Order Intake
New features within PrintOS Production Hub include AI Order Intake, which uses natural-language AI to turn a customer email or file into an order. HP said the technology can reduce average order creation time by 90%, from several minutes to a few seconds.
AI Upscale is designed to improve low-resolution files in one click, while both features are printer-brand agnostic and available to Production Hub users regardless of their printing hardware.
At printer level, AI Automatic Print Mode Selection on the Latex R530 AI selects a balance between print quality and throughput. Direct Job Submission can also send eligible work from Production Hub directly to print.
The R530 can handle both rigid and flexible media, with HP’s High Control Belt
System enabling direct printing onto rigid substrates. The printer will be available from 1 December 2026, with AI Automatic Print Mode Selection due to follow through a firmware upgrade in early 2027.

HP and Neolt are also introducing the Neolt Jumbo Unwinder for the HP Latex FS50, FS60 and FS70W, designed to enable longer unattended printing cycles using jumbo rolls.
Elsewhere, HP reported that more than 220 Indigo 18K and 120K presses have now been installed worldwide, contributing to an installed base of more than 1,200 B2-format Indigo presses.
